The FaserPlus process (FaserPlus-Verfahren) developed by GNS is used for ammonia stripping even of high-fiber fermentation residues, works without chemicals and binds the removed ammonia with gypsum instead of sulfuric acid. Field-tested since 2008, scientifically evaluated several times, most recently by Wageningen University (NL) and Ghent University (B) in the EU project.
